Evgeny Alexandrovich Kuznetsov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, member of the International Academy of Sciences of the Higher School. Nurpeis Alievich Taldybek, was born on March 29, 1959.

In 1985 he graduated from the Faculty of History of KazNU Al-Farabi, majoring in History. Teacher of History and Social Sciences. On May 31, 1993 he defended his PhD thesis in Historical Sciences on the topic “The influence of the penetration of capitalist relations on the socio-economic life of the village and its consequences. Years 1867-1914” (with the materials of the steppe regions) in the specialty 07.00.02 - Domestic history.

Currently engaged in researching the history and ethnology of the Kazakh aul of the 19th - early 20th centuries. He actively explores the problems faced in the following topic: “The activities of the tsarist colonial administration in 1822-1917” (with the materials of the steppe regions) in the specialty 07.00.02 - Domestic history.


Matakbaeva Lyazzat, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor of the Department of International Relations of the KazNPU Abai University. Coordinator of “International Relations” for the Kazakh side of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan project from 2013. Supervises the work of the Master’s section. Sembinov Kaskenovich Murat, Doctor of Historical Sciences, associate professor of VAK, university teacher. He has 30 years experience in teaching in higher education. Since 1994, he works at the Department of International Relations. He participated to more than 30 international scientific conferences and he has written one hundred and ten scientific publications, among which: “"Its" past and "foreign" past, or the search for new identities in post-Soviet states”. “Creation of National History” (September 15-16, 1998, Moscow). “War of Memories?” “Interconnection of school textbooks and conflicts in Central Asia, the South Caucasus and Moldova in the post-Soviet period”, Braunschweig, Germany. He got the certificate of expert on Great Britain’s and Germany’s higher education systems of the TACIS program (1996).

He participated in 5 scientific projects. He is a member of the authors' team for writing the textbook “World History of Modern Times” for 10 classes of secondary school, recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Bayturbaeva Tulegenovna Asel, doctorate candidate of Political Sciences. She was born on February 5, 1982 in Almaty. In 1999 she graduated from the highschool № 8 named after E. Telmana at Almaty with a specialization in economics. From 1999 to 2003 she studied international relations at the Almaty State University named after Abay in the Faculty of International Relations. From September 2005 to June 2006, she completed English language courses in the UK, at ASPECT College Oxford. From 2006 to 2009 she worked as an English teacher at KazNPU Abay in the Faculty of International Relations. In 2006 she entered the post-graduate course of KazNPU Abay, specializing in Political Sciences. In 2009 she defended her thesis on the topic “Political factors of shaping the image of a leader in the Republic of Kazakhstan”. From 2010 to 2012 she worked as Head of the Department of English language at KazNPU Abay. From 2012 to 2013 she worked as deputy dean for scientific work at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and International Relations. From 2012 to the present time she works as a senior lecturer at the Department of International Relations of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute.


Zhamansarin Shukatovich Nurlan, Doctoral candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor. He was born on June 18, 1955 in Aktyubinsk. In 1972 he graduated from the secondary school No. 10 of Almaty. From 1972 to 1976 he studied at the faculty of History of KazPI Abay. From 1976 to 1982 he worked in the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Institute of History and Ethnology. Since 1982, he works at the university KazNPU Abay. In 1984 he defended his thesis for a master's degree in "National history". In 1992 he graduated from the international school of political sciences in the city of Tallinn (Estonia). From 1922 to 1999 he worked as Head of the department of history of KazNPU Abay. In 1997, he worked as responsible secretary of the Admission Committee. From 2000 to 2005 he served as Chairman of the Election Commission.

In 2008, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan awarded the badge “Honored Worker of the National Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. In 2009 he was awarded the “Excellent Teacher” medal.


Aymena Kurmangali Kuanyshbaykyzy, Doctor of Political Sciences, associate professor. She was born and grew up in the city of Almaty in a family of the creative intelligentsia. In 1998 she graduated from the Faculty of International Relations with a degree in "Political Sciences" from KazNPU Abay. In 2002 she successfully defended her PhD thesis "Institute of Presidency and its role in the process of ‘sovereignization’ of Kazakhstan: the results of the 10th anniversary of independence". Chumachenko Nikolaevna Tatyana, Doctor candidate of Political Sciences, senior lecturer of the department of international relations KazNPU Abay (since 1998). Graduated from KazNU Al-Farabi (1994) as a teacher of socio-political disciplines.
